A Last Desperate Attempt From A Broken Man

Please take five minutes to read my story, I am a proud man who has hit rock bottom and is having a last ditch, all be it unusual, attempt to get back on his feet.

Ten years ago, I, after alot of hardwork and determination, landed my dream job, and married my dream lady, things were going well.

We settled into married life and saved hard, and in 2004 we purchased the house we wanted to raise our family in.

Early 2005 our first daughter was born, swiftly followed in late 2006 by our second daughter.

Times were good, until in early 2008 the recession hit and I was made redundant.

We didn't panick unduly, we had some savings and my wife found a part time job while I looked for work.

Due to the recession another job was hard to come by, and our savings were running low, so being a proud man who has always stood on his own feet, I started to build a small window cleaning round to help us through the bad times.

After the death of my father in  2004, things had been tough for my mother, but we pulled together best we could.

While out working late in 2008, I received a phone call, my wife had collapsed at work and been rushed to hospital, she died before I could make it there.

It is fair to say my world had collapsed.

Things started then to get really tough when while coping with my wifes death and trying to carry on for the childrens sake, I was informed that as the mortgage was in my name, I had no insurance for her death against the mortgage.

Also on top of that we had accumulated some debt from day to day living with 2 small children.

With the house prices down, I also found myself in negative equity, this brings me to the desperate situation I am in today.
